That's the work I've done for more than three decades: building communities, hosting gatherings, and making introductions that turn into friendship, belonging, and sometimes love.

I'm a collector and curator, not of art, but of people. I directed TEDxSanDiego, gave a TEDx talk on the art of matchmaking viewed nearly 200,000 times, and have helped create 14 marriages and many more happy couples. My favorite work has always happened around a dinner table.
